Print, Copy, Scan, Fax

Self-service print/copy/scan/fax machines are located on the first through fourth floors near the library stacks.

Self-service print/scan/copy/fax copiers are activated by tapping an MU ID card or a purchased copy card. Cards are debited $.07 for black and white print/copy/scan ($.10 double-sided) and $.50 for color ($.80 double-sided). There are no coin operated machines available in the law library.

Personal USB flash drive devices may be used in lieu of copying or printing when appropriate.

MU ID card holders

Students may print, copy, scan, or fax materials at any of the five networked print/copy/scan/fax machines in the law library using their MU Student ID cards. Law students are allocated $14/semester ($7/summer) for print/copy/scan (200 black & white pages) through PrintWise, a campus-wide printing service. Additional funds may be added to an ID card online or by visiting Card Services at Union Station (Alumni Memorial Union, Rm. 158).

Non- MU ID card holders

Law library card holders may use their library card to make copies and add funds online. Alternatively, law library card holders can visit Union Station (Alumni Memorial Union, Rm. 158), to add funds (minimum $1.00) to their library card and make payment at that time by cash, check or credit/debit card.

For visitors who do not have a library card, copy cards cost $10.00 at the Union Station (Alumni Memorial Union, Rm. 158). Union Station accepts cash, check and debit/credit cards. Copy cards may be purchased at the circulation desk. The circulation desk offers $12.00 copy cards ($10 for the card and $2.00 pre-loaded for copies). The law library accepts cash or check. There is no ATM in Eckstein Hall. Union Station hours vary from law library service hours.  Funds may be added to purchased copy cards online or at Union Station. Copy cards can be used to print or make copies but not scan or fax.  Alternatively, visitors may pay cash for copies by using the circulation desk copy card.  Visitors who intend to make copies outside of regular law library service hours are encouraged to purchase a copy card.
