• HEINOnline is a collection of legal research materials. The HEIN Law Journals Library offers journal articles in pdf format. Also includes a variety of federal and international materials in searchable format.

ICLR:  Incorporated Council for Law Reporting for England & Wales

• Incorporated Council for Law Reporting for England and Wales is a legal database that contains the opinions of the Appellate and Superior courts of England and Wales.

• Access is restricted to faculty and students of Marquette University Law School and patrons of the law library. Law faculty and students working remotely must call the reference desk for the user name and password.

Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals

• IFLP is an index to over 300,000 “articles and book reviews appearing in more than 500 legal journals published worldwide. It provides in-depth coverage of public and private international law, comparative and foreign law, and the law of all jurisdictions other than the United States, the UK, Canada, and Australia. The IFLP also analyzes the contents of about eighty individually published collections of legal essays, Festschriften, Mélanges, and congress reports each year.”  Regular search features cover 1985 – current.  The database contains historical coverage back to 1960 through the pdf of the print editions.  Some of articles indexed are hyperlinked to the Journals library in HEIN.  Quite a few of the articles written in other than English  are not available at Marquette Law Library.  If you are unable to locate an article, please consult a reference librarian for further assistance and help with placing an Interlibrary Loan request.

• Provides the CIS index for congressional publications from 1817 to present, full-text of recent Congressional publications and abstracts for earlier materials, bill tracking reports, legislative histories, federal regulations, and committee information. Through the CIS index, researchers can search laws by subject, citation, committee, witness, or other document numbers assigned during the legislative process.

Shepard's - Public Access Citator Service

• Provides electronic Shepard's citator service for library patrons. All resources served by LexisNexis' fee-based Shepard's service are included in the public access subscription.

• Access is restricted to patrons in the law library. There is a dedicated desk top computer near the reference desk that allows access to this service. Patrons using this desk top for other than Shepard's citator work will be asked to move to another computer.
